It's not a big issue since the computers are not far apart physically, but if I really wanted to pull something off the X64 box from another PC, I'd be up feces This is nVidia RAID and it is fully recognized and supported - others may not be, but the team claim support covering a set of common ROM based RAID's.

However, if I hook up any of the SATA disks, an external 1394-attached disk, or another hdd on the secondary slave then Windows gets partway into the When I started setting up the SATA disks as my second Raid array, Windows would boot and the disk manager would see them, but I couldn't get the nvidia raid

If the NVIDIA drivers installation was successful, you should be seeing version 5.10.2600.931 If it isn't then you will have to update them manually via the I restarted and enabled my RAID/SATA and it booted up again. I then installed the driver 15.00 package and restarted again with another successful boot.

Installing RAID drives
Yes I have ran a memory test. The problem only happens when trying to install to a RAID 0 configuration. Works fine when I install to just one drive. I set the RAID back up and it goes back to the same problem. I tried downloading another driver set from nVidia, but have the same problem.

I suppose if I got this far, I could restart the installation, resize the OS partition to the bare minimum and stripe the rest. But that's not what I want--I want the OS partition itself to be mirrored, not the free space beyond it. When I used Nvidia's native RAID (which had no problem mirroring the OS partition),

Carlos was right. . .
Botted the system and saw the two disks in the windows disk manager but the nvidia raid manager didn't see them. As expected. I ran system restore and backed up to a checkpoint from before I started trying to add the new disks. No change, so I think that the problem isn't in Windows itself.
